The Guide 2 Surrey 20/04/2017 Staff Writer For the ultimate family springtime treat, Merrist Woods’ annual celebration of lambing and countryside crafts is hard to beat…  Well the daffodils and cherry blossom have appeared, the sun’s out and the sky is clear (possibly) with fresh spring air. Which means it’s that time of year when Merrist Wood College invite the public for two days of Fleecy Frolics.   Fleecy Frolics is the College's annual lambing event and is a celebration of nature and countryside crafts. Throughout the academic year, the college’s flock are the responsibility of the students. Watched over by the Academic staff, the students herd their charges from September tupping all the way to now, the lambing period and this is there chance to show off all their hard work.   The event is a little different this year. Following the last few years, the college has decided to make the event a two day affair, and Saturday a pre-booked event only. This ensures firstly that the lambs are not distressed and secondly that everyone gets a turn at seeing...
